FOR PARENTS & TEACHERS

At the heart of our mission is connecting children, families and schools with nature through their senses, for everyone's greater well-being. As long time educators, we were inspired to adapt the practices of Forest Bathing for children and for schools.

Research shows that nature + focusing on our senses reduces anxiety and stress, helps us feel a greater sense of place and helps children to refocus their attention, enhancing their ability to learn.

We are happy to share with you nature sensory resources, activities and tips that can provide you and your family while you are home-bound with a brain
break, an opportunity to uplift everyone's mood or boost our immune system's ability to fight this virus. We have included indoor activities, as well as outdoor activities that can be done in your garden, on your balcony or at a nearby park. Click here to access these activities and for links to additional resources. You will also find more tips and activities by following our Facebook post series.

Strong relationships with each other and with nature are essential to our well being, as well as to Earth's.
