Picture it now: You are in the forest on a crisp winter day, the snow is falling lightly and all you can hear are the soft sounds of your snowshoes as you meander through the woods, invited by your guide to experience nature through your senses, to feel the magic of winter.
You already enjoy being in nature. Strap on a pair of snowshoes and let us take you on a unique Winter Forest Bathing sensory immersion. We will cover less than a mile on gentle terrain to allow you to take in all the sights, sounds, smells and textures of an Adirondack forest in winter. Your guide will help you slow down through a series of brief ever-changing sensory activities so you can find a deeper relationship with nature, feeling the interdependence of all living beings. And you will find that you are also more present to yourself and to each moment, effortlessly.
More than two decades of research studies describe a wide range of health benefits from the practice of Forest Bathing including lowered blood pressure, reduced stress, a stronger immune system, reduced anxiety and greater attention and concentration.

Winter Forest Bathing is $40 for adults and $35 for children ages 10-17. Bring your own snowshoes and we will refund you $10 per person at the end of your eco-trip.
Group Forest Bathing outings are limited to a maximum group size of eight people.
Winter 2017/2018 - Winter Forest Bathing eco-trips will be offered every Saturday between January 13 and April 1.
Eco-trips begin at 1pm and end about 3pm with approximately ninety minutes being spent out of doors, weather permitting.
Please note that ending time may extend up to 30 minutes depending on temperature, weather and participant comfort.
